Seafood Restaurant - Samak
Featuring an expansive wine list and an array of seafood and imported steaks prepared to taste on an open grill. Open for dinner.
The Palm
A la carte restaurant serving an international and Middle Eastern breakfast buffet and becomes the venue for occasional themed nights; the a la carte menu features a variety of cuisines and offers an expansive wine selection to complement your fine dining choices.
The Lounge
This stylish lounge bar invites you to take a comfortable seat and enjoy an aperitif before or a nightcap after your meal; you will also find gourmet coffees and teas all day long.
Dining by Design
A total customisation of your dining experience with locations by the beach, on your balcony or wherever else inspires you; allow the chefs at Desert Islands to create a supremely romantic and original evening.

The resort is located on Sir Bani Yas Island off the coast of Abu Dhabi
• Abu Dhabi International Airport: Approx 3 hrs drive through Arabian desert to the jetty at Jebel Dhana
• Once at Jebel Dhana your bags and cases will be loaded onto the speedboat which takes around 20 minutes to get to Sir Bani Yas Island
• Once on Sir Bani Yas Island you’ll then enjoy a 15 minute jeep ride through the nature reserve to the hotel
• Alternative transport arrangements include a small plane transfer from Abu Dhabi (prices available from our reservation agents)
• The nature reserve itself features many walking trails to explore in addition to the daily guided safari drives offered by the resort

Game drive (extra charge applies): The game drive must be experienced with a trip to the Desert Islands Resort & Spa. A 4x4 will take you out into the various sections of the island that give home to gazelle, oryx, species of buffalo, giraffe, cheetahs, guinea fowl and many brightly coloured birds. Duration is around 2 hours.

Anantara Spa: Signature treatments in this beautiful setting include Thai massage and Arabian couples massage.

Sir Bani Yas Stables

A state of the art equestrian facility opened in March 2012 and featuring a range of experiences for both beginner and experienced riders including trekking and lessons; pony rides for the children are also on offer.
