The building's character combines influences of Chinese housing, the lifestyle of the native Lanna people and Continental architecture. All building materials are from the native province of Chiang Mai so as to be in perfect keeping with the climate and also to retain a true sense of Lanna history. Renovated in 2009, the hotel offers 24-hour reception and check-out service, a breakfast room, Internet access, laundry service and a car park.
From Chiang Mai Airport, head straight to the motorway, going under the overpass. Then follow the road all the way until reaching a big intersection. Turn left and go straight through 3 intersections. Turn right and follow the road. The hotel will be seen on the left-hand side.
The hotel features bicycles, an outdoor swimming pool and Internet room.
The hotel has only American breakfast.

The hotel rooms are decorated in Lanna-Colonial style, popular with Chiang Mai bureaucrats of that era. The decorative items are made out of silverware and lacquer ware of Baan Wualai.
