Leaf
Laamu’s signature restaurant reached over a gently swaying bridge where a fine selection of dishes using the freshest of ingredients from the ocean and land are ready to tempt you. Enjoy a romantic table for two or meet new friends at the Chilli table set among the dozen varieties of chilli growing in the garden.
Longitude
Look out for bottlenose dolphins from this two-storey dining space which offers delectable croissants and fresh-from-the-oven breads at breakfast along with fresh fruits, pancakes waffles and eggs made to order. Later in the day an international menu of grilled meats, fresh fish, pastas and Asian flavours are innovatively prepared and served to waiting guests.
Es’sense
An unassuming over-water hut where guests may enjoy Indian curries, Thai and Chinese stir fry, wood fired oven pizza and hot pies; if simply eating is not enough then why not take a cookery class here given by chefs from all around the globe
Altitude
An apt name for this 6.4 metre high glass tower that rises out of the ocean. Altitude showcases its own well-stocked collection of wine, a Meat and Cheese Deli and a tasting table in its centre – some might say the coolest table in the atoll.
Ice
Featuring a crepe bar and cocoa kitchen as well as 40 exotically flavoured ice creams. With daily cooking clinics, you need to just leave room for the tasting.
Chai
Sit on colourful, padded daybeds and chaises overlooking the magnificent ocean and enjoy snacks which Maldivians call ‘short eats’ or and afternoon tea and coffee from a seemingly inexhaustible selection
Chill Lounge & Bar
Cool venue – comprising a chilled out multi-level panoramic bar. Choose your weapons from over 200 different spirits in the Spirit Tower or enjoy the sunsets or afternoon warmth on daybeds. When night sets in, unwind on the over-water nets whilst the resident Mood Jockey sets the tempo from sunset to sunrise.
Deck-A-Dence
Further into the lagoon you will find these six glass aquarium tables providing the only spot in the Maldives where you may dine on a zero carbon menu; the dishes are inventive, entirely local and unbelievably flavoursome. This ground-breaking cuisine and location is an adventure in itself.
