The Coco De Mer Hotel is situated on the South-West coast of Praslin - the second largest island of the Seychelles. Having completed an extensive refurbishment in July 2011, the hotel's bars, restaurants and guest rooms all now feature added areas of privacy and relaxation. The island is home to the unique Coco de Mer palm, from which the hotel takes its name. The hotel offers modern facilities in a tropical setting and has a laid back, friendly atmosphere. It is located on the beach and set amongst a tranquil landscape of lush vegetation, banana palms, mango trees, and bright island flora.  


‘We would recommend that guests can either stroll or use the hotel’s bicycles to access the many private sandy coves that dot this side of the island. Once arrived, it’s likely to be just you with the Indian Ocean as your only companion’

Yacht Charters and Excursions:

The 42 foot catamaran, “Charming Lady“ and the 46 foot catamaran “Summer's Day“ operate in association with the hotel. This offers guests the opportunity of discovering, tranquil bays, deserted islands and unspoiled tropical beaches in comfort and style. Each catamaran has six spacious double en-suite cabins, and comes equipped with all modern facilities as well as a qualified, multilingual skipper and a cook. Overnight as well as scheduled cruises are available.

 

Diving and scuba:

Several scuba diving centres are based on Praslin. Transport can be arranged accordingly. Neighbouring island excursions and deep sea fishing expeditions are also arranged locally at an extra charge.
